Poggerino have recently added to their three existing apartments (they sleep 4, 4 and 2) by renovating the property's 800-year-old building - Bugialla - into a 6-room 'Bed'n'Breakfast'. Benedetta's morning repast focusses on local produce and whatever is ready in the large organic garden (the winery is also organic converting to biodynamic and one of the best Chianti producers). Most of the rooms have views over the Chianti hills and the bathrooms are well-appointed. Great swimming pool. Good value too; example: a double room with breakfast and dinner is Euro140; overnight and breakfast only Euro 96. Highly recommended.
