Conterno Fantino’s historical nucleus is Ginestra, one of Monforte’s historical crus documented as far back as the 1800’s. From here come two wines, Sori Ginestra and Vigna del Gris. Mosconi is the neighbouring hillside and, more recently, the families acquired the vineyard at the heart of Castelletto known as Vigna Pressenda. Four stunning baroli from some of Monforte’s best vineyards.

Dolcetto Bricco Bastia is from the vineyard adjacent to the winery and is packed with ripe fruit and spice. Barbera Vignota is from a roll call of Monforte’s cru vineyards: Ginestra, Bussia Sottana, Mosconi, Pajana and Ornati. The wine is intensely perfumed with lush red cherry fruit and a rich, ripe palate balanced by fresh acidity and a beautiful finish.
